EAST by Meera Sodha

During the first lockdown my family became obsessed with the cookbook EAST by the amazing Meera Sodha. Over the weeks we inadvertently took on the challenge of cooking the entire book! I have never cooked an entire cookbook but it was a total revelation and a culinary journey.

We were so entranced by this incredible cookbook, we wrote Meera a letter. An epic fan letter. It wended its way to her and she was so thrilled by it she posted it on Instagram in celebration of the American publication of the book. Wow! 8,000 people read our letter! Buy this book; it’s a gem. She rolls up flavours from across the Asian continent in wonderful and surprising ways. This is such a satisfying cookery book.
